One of Verité Southeast Asia’s major working units is the Capacity Building & Consulting team, composed of dedicated professionals with a blend of expertise in the fields of social audit, learning, research, management interventions and health & safety. The team is determined to perform and fulfill the following roles:
Enrico has served as an accredited Social Compliance Auditor, Productivity Consultant and Network Partner for Verité since 2004 and served as Verité Southeast Asia’s Managing Director from 2007 to 2019.
He has been involved in brand risk analysis and social compliance program assessments, training and leading teams that conduct factory audits and worker interviews and factory level remediation training for productivity-related and overtime issues in Southeast Asia and Saipan.
Jet has 20 years of experience working on labor, human rights, and global supply chain social responsibility issues. Her current responsibilities as Senior Director for Capability Building for the Southeast Asia Region, include developing Social Responsibility programs for various stakeholders (Brands/MNCs/Buyers, Vendors/Licensees, Suppliers/Factories, Contractors/Sub-contractors, Workers, Governments, Employers’ Confederations, and Auditors/CSR practitioners) to find solutions, and develop strategies to address recurring social responsibility & compliance issues.
Based in Bangkok, Thailand, Panyarak coordinates grant-funded, fee-for-service and multi-stakeholder capacity building initiatives in the seafood industry, including facilitating training programs on labor and ethics standards targeted to migrant fishermen, fishing vessel and port owners as well as auditor trainings for factory managers and HR personnel.
As regional Research and Communications Coordinator, Panyarak’s responsibilities include conducting research on various migrant labor-related issues in Southeast Asia, coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives in the Thai seafood industry, and conducting factory-level audits in the seafood and electronics industries.
Hands-on experience and insight from over 20 years of line management work in the areas of organization development, capability building and talent management characterize what Cezar Bagadion brings into the Verité Programs he leads and manages. Cezar’s expertise was honed through various meaningful and solid exposures in different industries which include oil, pharmaceutical distribution, animation, banking and manufacturing. Prior to joining Verité in 2010, he spent 13 years as the Country Learning and Talent Manager for Unilever (South East Asia Cluster), a leading multinational company producing personal care and home care goods and food products.
Ria has handled and coordinated over 50 training and learning development sessions with various organizations and companies. She assists in developing and putting together learning materials and modules, and in making sure that these are tailor-fitted to the needs of the training attendees. She also facilitates pre- and post-activity processes needed to complete a certification or a training program. She is tech-savvy and is able to harness modern technology to help create a more optimal learning environment for the participants.
As Program Coordinator, Kria assists and coordinates in the development of project proposals, tracks and monitors the progress of project work plans, and ensures timely project delivery. As coordinator for the project, Kria participates in calls and in-person meetings with clients to map out project progress and provide updates to involved parties. She also assists in preparation of client-ready communications, including emails and reports.
